'Eua

'Eua Island consists of one big island, and one tiny island. The big island of 'Eua is estimated to be approximately 40 million years old. It is therefore the oldest island in Tonga, and even one of the oldest islands in the South Pacific. 'Eua is located only 17.5km from the much younger flat coral island of Tongatapu. Lulutai Airline's six (7) minute flight from Tongatapu to 'Eua is one of the shortest commercial flights in the world. 'Eua is known for its high altitudes, cooler temperatures, rainforests, magnificent cliffs, rock gardens and forest treks. 'Eua also offers whale watching activities. There is also diving amongst vast underwater sea caves for the more adventurous. The main town and capital of 'Eua is 'Ohonua. Lulutai Airline's office branch is located at 'Eua Kaufana Domestic Airport.
